This was a song written sometime in 2009/2010 that was meant for 2012's "At The Heart of Staying in Love." I didn't have the production style right for it, and I honestly always envisioned this as more of an electronic production, but this version is live and will stay on here. I was working at the Nordstrom cafe at the time and I wrote the song while dumping out the skim milk, milk, and cream down the commercial kitchen sink at the end of the night, hence the 'various shades of white' line. I was putting my life and myself back together after a long time and I wrote a lot of songs then.
